Real estate agents in the Alberni Valley got together at Harbour Quay during the holidays and made some donations to school programs.

Natalia Mowat from the career centre at Alberni District Secondary School accepted a $500 donation for a bursary. Sally Anderson from the Read and Feed program (which serves Alberni Valley elementary schools) accepted a $300 donation that will go toward buying breakfast food for students.

Realtors from Zone 6 make this donation every year, said Olivier Naud, who is chair-elect (2025) for the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board.

Zone 6 realtors also supported organizations in Ucluelet and Tofino. Judy Gray made separate presentations to Ucluelet Secondary School ($500 bursary) and Food Bank on the Edge Society ($288.87).
