The Alberni Valley Museum will be selling some of the banners that have graced the city's streets during the 2012 centennial.

The eye-catching banners that have graced Port Alberni's streets throughout the 2012 centennial celebrations will soon be coming down. Own a special souvenir commemorating the incorporation of the cities of Port Alberni and Alberni and buy a banner.

A limited number will be available for purchase for $50 each at the Alberni Valley Museum in May, once they have been cleaned. All three designs are available to choose from. Pre-orders are being accepted now, to reserve yours please call the Alberni Valley Museum Gift Shop at 250-720-2863.

All three colourful designs will be available – the first train, the pioneers and the first city councils. Here is your chance to own a special centennial souvenir.
