With the weather finally turning to warm and sunny (OK, OK, we simply refuse to buy into the rain this weekend!), it’s time to start thinking of your gardens.

Two plant sales this weekend can help you with your decisions.

The second annual seedling sale at Echo Centre started on Friday and continues Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expect to find tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cabbages, greens and cucumbers among others.

The Mt. Klitsa Garden Club’s much-anticipated annual plant sale takes place at Rollin Art Centre on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to noon.

A variety of plants will be available, and there will be a raffle table as well. Fill your boxes, and share photos of your selections with us on our Facebook page—perhaps you’ll provide inspiration for someone else.
