SPECIAL TO THE NEWS

Start out the new year creatively! Join us at the Grove Art Gallery for a few exciting art workshops that are currently being planned.

BASIC COLOURED PENCIL WORKSHOP

Join Jim Sears for another fun and creative workshop on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Grove Art Gallery.

This workshop is for beginners or experienced artists who wish to experiment with the use of coloured pencils to create their artwork or complement another medium. Some experience with colour mixing and basic composition would be an asset. Coloured pencils offer another dimension of detail and effects. The cost is $75.

ACRYLIC PAINTING WORKSHOPS

Making Waves — Whether you are making crashing waves, soft tide ripples, or swirling water, you will get into the rhythm of painting water works in this one-day class with Susan Schaefer on April 13 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $125.

Limited Palette — Using only three primary colours (plus white), Susan Schaefer will show you how to paint with confidence while using a simple palette. This workshop costs $125 and takes place Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
