Learn bookbinding with lettering and book artist Trisha Klus of Cobble Hill this spring at The Grove Art Gallery. Klus is a retired officer from the Canadian Airforce, where she was one of the first women aircrew members. She began her creative journey in 1995 and now her book binding artwork can be found in such prestigious places as the Special Collections Library at the University of Victoria.

Klus will be leading a series of six creative workshops all focused on bookbinding. The first workshop starts Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will focus on creating an Artist’s Book - a hard-covered book secured with a ribbon and tie with unique pages, pop-ups, pull-outs, mini-books, hidden panels and more. To sign up, visit the Grove Gallery at the Harbour Quay. More information on the workshops can be found online at alberniarts.com.
