The Vancouver Island born singer-songwriter Sam Weber is returning to Char’s Landing in Port Alberni for his first Canadian tour in four years.

He will be at Char’s Landing on Friday, Oct. 20, after spending the COVID-19 era in Los Angeles. Weber’s time abroad came with the release of his 2022 album, Get Free, his Ain’t Life Grand EP earlier this year and many collaborative projects with musicians on both sides of the border, including his signature guitar stylings for the Juno-winning Bahamas LP, Sad Hunk, in 2022.

Since spending time abroad, Weber’s music has skewed more cosmic and improvisational, all while following the sincere threads of his song-craft. For the Canadian dates, Sam will be accompanied by Tejas Leier-Heyden on pedal steel guitar.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at https://samweber.bpt.me.
