The Community Arts Council will be holding a special spring concert, with guests the Greater Victoria Police Chorus. Join us for an afternoon of song and help raise funds for the arts in our community.

This concert will take place Sunday, April 14 at the ADSS Auditorium from 2-4 p.m. Tickets are $30 and will be available at the Grove Art Gallery, located at the Harbour Quay.

CAC SEEKING LEADERS

The Community Arts Council is seeking board members and directors of varied ages and persuasions, critical thinkers and visionaries. We need skilled writers, people with volunteering, HR,and finance knowledge, organizational and fundraising experience and folks with good connections around town. An arts background is not necessary. Executive positions will become available.

If you’d like to roll up your sleeves for a year or two, you can help us chart a course to becoming self-sustaining while fulfilling our mission to support and promote the arts and artists in the Alberni Valley. For more information, please contact Nancy Blair, president, at blairn@shaw.ca or Melissa Martin, arts administrator, at admincac@shawcable.com.
