Suspect considered violent thought to be in Nanaimo or Port Alberni

Police in Nanaimo are asking for the public’s help to locate a 41-year-old man who is wanted for allegedly breaching conditions of his release from prison.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, the suspect has breached a number of conditions of his release related to domestic violence, has a history of failing to attend court and should be considered violent. Investigators believe he is travelling between Nanaimo and Port Alberni.

The suspect is described as 5-foot-9, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, a tattoo of the name Kayden on his left wrist, a tattoo of a crown on his back and three piercings on his left ear.

Anyone with information on the subject’s whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2024-12565.
