RCMP search for missing Alberni woman
Police in Port Alberni are on the look out for a 30-year-old woman who went missing in Beaver Creek.
Stephanie Nicole Ewing was last seen by a friend on the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 25, RCMP Cpl. Jen Allan said in a press release.
Ewing, who recently relocated to Alberni from Ontario, was moving from her Beaver Creek residence to another location in town when she went missing.
Police don't suspect foul play in Ewing's disappearance at this time. Allan did say however that Ewing was under some emotional stress.
Ewing was new to town, was unfamiliar with the area and had a limited social network, Allan said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424, or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS.
