Port Alberni city council has scheduled a committee of the whole meeting to discuss the city’s strategy to address issues of people living at risk, theft of property, violent crime and substandard housing—issues that were brought up during a Monday, Nov. 20 COTW meeting.
The new meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. in council chambers.
The RCMP, city bylaw officer, economic development manager, city development services manager and affected agencies will be invited. The meeting will be open to the public.
