The Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce and Port Alberni & District Labour Council have organized an all candidates’ forum plus meet and greet for School District 70 trustee candidates for Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 7–9 p.m., at the United Steelworkers Hall.
“It will follow the same format as our meeting for council candidates,” said Nancy Czigany, labour council secretary.
Each candidate will have an opportunity to make a statement and will answer one question drawn from questions submitted by the public. A mix and mingle opportunity will follow.
The United Steelworkers Hall is located at 4904 Montrose St.
