Two Port Alberni men are facing drug charges after a police bust netted cash and cocaine in Alberni’s South Port.
RCMP have recommended charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking against Hal Beek, 55, and Daniel Seydel, 49. Charges are pending against a third person.
According to RCMP Cpl. Jen Allan, RCMP executed search warrants at two residences in the downtown core on Third Avenue and one on the 3900-block of Fourth Avenue.
The searches yielded a quantity of cocaine, cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia, Allan said.
