110 registrants gathered around the track at Bob Dailey Stadium on Sunday morning for the annual Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer’s at Glenwood Centre.

This year’s walk was arranged in the memory of Athalie Spencer, who trained as a teacher and taught at the airforce base in Tofino.

Participants walked one kilometre around the track on Sunday morning. The walk was followed by refreshments and a draw for prizes at the Glenwood Centre.

“We raised our goal of well over $5,000,” said organizer Denis Sauvé. “It was a success.”
