A Port Alberni resident lost his truck to thieves in a five-hour overnight window.
The black 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with BC plates JN 2109 was parked in the 3700 block of Morgan Crescent North.
Sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, the truck was stolen. The pickup truck is described as having an extended cab without a canopy, a rusted tailgate and fish decals on the rear window.
