Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 24 and 26 of the Community Charter that the District of Ucluelet intends to dispose

of District land for less than market value which the District estimates to be approximately $363,177.95, as follows:

Description of Lands: All that portion of park to be closed in District Lot 284, Clayoquot District, identified as “Park to be Closed Parcel A 0.201 ha”, shown outlined in bold on reference plan EPP132848, to accompany District of Ucluelet Parkland Disposal By-law No. 1334.

Purchaser: Food Bank on the Edge (Inc. No. S0043237)

Nature of Disposition: Fee simple transfer

Purchase Price: $1.00, with the land being valued at $363,177.95

If you wish to provide public input on the proposed disposition of land, Council will receive written submissions at its January 9, 2024, regular meeting. Written submissions must be received by 4:00 PM on January 8, 2024, at communityinput@ucluelet.ca, by mail at PO Box 999, V0R 3A0, Ucluelet BC, or by physical delivery to 200 Main Street.

The sale of this land to the Food Bank on the Edge is subject to the District adopting a parkland disposal bylaw which must be approved by the electors.
