Darlene Alcock

After a long struggle with illness, we are saddened to announce the passing of Darlene Alcock on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the age of 70 yrs. She is predeceased by her
parents Charles and Muriel Alcock, and notably her son Dean Miller in 1986. Darlene is survived by her daughters Evelyn (Gary) Davidson, Kathy (Pierre) Miller, Penny (Mike) Parcher, and Laura (Darren) Brown, her 17 grandchildren Jim, Crystal, Trish, Cathy, Rick, Ken, Brandy, Kelly, Kristine, Whitney, Jessica, Carli, Steven, Terry, Serena, Kyle and Kira. Darlene is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, her brothers Ben (Judy) Alcock and Bill Alcock, and her sister Nola (John) VanApeldorn.
Darlene had worked as a long term care aid and
enjoyed many hobbies including knitting, candy making, ceramics, painting and fishing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at 2PM. Cremation has taken place and Darlene’s urn will be buried with her son Dean in the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Stories and condolences may be offered by visiting www.chapelofmemories.ca.
