Norris; Edward Ivor “Ted” Following a lengthy illness Ted peacefully passed away in West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 78 years of age.

Predeceased by his brother David, he is survived by his beloved wife Betty, children: Mark (Louise), Chris (Jenni) and Susan Kozlowski (Cory); grandchildren: Courtney, Colin, Justin and Jenelle as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Ted grew up in Manitoba, living in Brandon before moving out to BC eventually settling with his family in Port Alberni in the mid 1980’s. Ted worked hard, loved his family and was a passionate gardener, loving to spend hours tinkering in the yard.

Our family would like to express sincere appreciation for the tremendous care and support given by Dr. Damian White and Missy, Dr. Gayleen Hargrove and the Port Alberni Dialysis Unit. Also, to the nephrologists in Nanaimo for their care at the hospital.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM, on Monday, April 28, 2014, at Trinity Church, 4766 Angus St., Port Alberni with Rev. George Pell officiating. Cremation has taken place.
