Fran Barr passed away peacefully on October 6, 2016 at Rainbow Gardens in Port Alberni. Fran was born April 21, 1938 in Sudbury, Ont. She was predeceased by her father Frederick 1973, Mother Irma 1991, husband Harvey 2005 and brother Fred 2012. She is survived by sister-in-law Carolann, Ladner, BC, brothers Richard (Esther), Clarksville, TN, Barry (Barb), Port Alberni, BC, sister Elaine Bugden (Bruce), Port Alberni, BC and many nieces and nephews. Fran graduated as a RN from RJH in 1960, married Harvey February 14, 1964; her passions were family, travel and nursing in Dr. Norell, Dr. Eger, Dr. Kelly and Dr. Craven’s offices.
