It is with great sadness that the family of Georgina Green announces her passing on December 17, 2016.
Predeceased by her husband Walter and infant daughter Susan, sister La Rena and brother Calvin. Survived by daughters: Evelyn, Donna, Dianne, and Barbara-Jo and son Glenn; nine grandchildren and four great-granddaughters, brother Bill and brother-in-law Lynn Green.
Georgina enjoyed her family, home and flower beds. She knitted, crocheted and hooked rugs’. She was an active member of the Rebekah Lodge for many years. She and Walter enjoyed many years of recreational travel across Canada and from Alaska to the southern US and never bypassed an airport. They took several cruises and one memorable trip to the Orient.
The family would like to thank Dr. DePape and the staff at Fir Park for their many years of care. There will be no service by her request. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the SPCA or a charity of your choice. Stories and condolences may be left for the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca
