July 20, 1946 – January 6, 2015
It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, John Borovica, who passed at home on January 6, 2015 with his wife and family at his side after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
John is survived by his devoted wife Georgine; his sons Jurgen (Diane) and Erwin (Lisa) and either cherished grandchildren, Brendan and Hannah; Summer, Jema, Ethan, Farrah, Johnny Evan and Jaiden; as well as brother Ernest Neuretter (Jackie), neice Johanna; sister Inge and nieces and nephews in Austria.
A Celebration of John’s life will be held Saturday January 31, 2015 – 11:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, 4731 Burke Road, Port Alberni. We would like to thank Dr. Kader, Dr. White, Dr. Jonsen, Home Support Nurse Colleen, and all the support staff that gave excellent care to John. Flowers are gratefully declined.
