Julian (Hud) Graitson passed away peacefully at Central Okanagan Hospice Home, 2035 Ethel St., Kelowna, BC on March 6, 2016.
Beloved of the late Joyce Rita. Loving father of Larry, Tim and Debbie, brother of Ray and Lorraine, brother of the late Marcel, Maurice and Paul. Grandfather to Chelsi, Mallory and Samantha, and great-grandfather to Avery. He will be sadly missed by all. Retired from the Canadian Forces as an aerospace engineer, Hud served across Canada, the United States and overseas in England, France and Germany. He thoroughly enjoyed his military career, travel, responsibilities as Entertainment Chairman at every Mess and the lifetime friendships he formed throughout the world. His military forage cap will now be laid to rest with him in Kelowna, BC. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC. Reception to follow at Missionwood Retirement Resort – Wine Cellar Room at 3:00 pm, 1075 Barnes Ave., Kelowna, BC. A private interment will take place at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
