Loraleigh (Alma) Elizabeth (Beenen) Rinvold
Born September 26, 1941 • Died June 28, 2014
Passed away after a 7-month battle from a severe stroke. Alma was born and raised in Port Alberni and after graduating, worked almost 50 years mostly in the hotel industry as a desk clerk. She also volunteered for Citizens on Patrol until she fell ill. She loved animals, especially her cats and birds. She also loved her grandma Alma Gill who she said spoiled her rotten.
Alma (Loraleigh) was predeceased by her dad John Beenen and her mother Flora Beenen, husband Jerry Rinvold, stepson Fred Rinvold
and fiancé Ray Coulombe. Alma is survived by stepdaughter Linda (Gord) Karaim, Shane, Darren, Lance Karaim; Stepson Brian (Chantel) Rinvold. Tony, Michael, Devon Rinvold; and Fred’s children Derrek and Lyndsay Rinvold. She leaves behind many cousins, too numerous to mention.
