Martha Dziubenko passed away peacefully at West Coast General Hospital on October 5, 2016 at the age of 92.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Catherine Bower; her two grandsons; as well as many close friends from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pioneer Towers, and the Alberni Valley community.
Martha was an intelligent, caring and thoughtful woman with a wonderful sense of humour. She loved caring for others and worked as a nurse for most of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Following Martha’s wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Port Alberni Food Bank, 4841 Redford St, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 3P3, the Port Alberni Shelter Society, 3978 8 Ave, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 4S2, or a charity of your choice.
