Mohinder Pohar passed away surrounded by family at West Coast General Hospital on December 17, 2016 at the age of 78.
Predeceased by husband of 48 years, Mokand Singh Pohar (1934-2007); youngest daughter Rajinder Kaur Pohar (1966-2003); oldest brother Gian Singh; oldest sister Gian Kaur; middle brother Mohn Singh; oldest sister Rattan Kaur; older sister Gurmeet Kaur (passed February 2016); and younger brother Jora Singh (passed November 2016).
Mohinder is survived by her loving daughters Inderjit Kaur Bhatti (daughter Raveen Kaur Bhatti and son Jeevan Singh Bhatti) and Amarjit Kaur Pohar (daughters Taya Kaur Pohar and Maly Kaur Pohar); her loving son Permjit Singh Pohar (son Devyn Singh Pohar); and youngest brother Diwan Singh.
She was an amazing homemaker from the time she arrived from India. She will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Chapel of Memories, 4005 6th Avenue, Port Alberni, BC.
