Paul Henri passed away peacefully on December 25, 2016 at Ty Watson House at the age of 83.
Predeceased by his first wife Eva; Paul is survived by his son Denis (Marilyn); his two grandsons Ryan (Amanda) and Brandon (Lindsay); his great-grandchildren Keaton and Annilee and their mom Lori; his brother Aime (Marie); sisters Marguerite and Rose Anna (Jim) Place; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Paul was born on May 7, 1933 in Lavanture, SK to Oscar and Emilia Henri. He was the 12 of 17 children. Paul moved to BC in 1955, where he took up driving truck for numerous companies throughout his career. After retirement, Paul could be found on the golf course or curling rink. He also cherished his time spent with family and friends. The trip to Maui in 2014 with his family was one of the highlights of his life.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Brown’s office, the home support workers and the wonderful staff at Ty Watson House for their kind and compassionate care.
