It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Troy on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Prince George Regional Hospital, with his family by his side.

Troy was predeceased by his grandparents Leonard and Melva Lightfoot and grandmother Ann Allinott, as well as stepbrother Craig Weightman. Troy is survived by his wife Barb; his children Alicia, Tyler and Ryan; stepson Keith; stepdaughters Britanni and Alana; grandchildren Maxim and Hunter, who he adored. Also survived by his father Ron (Sandi); his mother Karen Manners (Ron); sister Charlane (Andrew); brother Lonnie (Heather); his grandfather Peter Allinott; mother-in-law Diane; sister-in law Donna; stepsisters Christina (Neil), Jennifer (Kevin) and Karri; stepbrothers Jason (Ashley) and Dereck; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Troy was born in Port Alberni on April 16, 1966. He attended Gill, A.W. Neill and ADSS from where he graduated. Troy loved sports and in his youth played soccer for the A.V. Soccer League as well as school Track and Field, where he earned many awards. Troy moved to Prince George in 1986 and was employed by the Canfor Pulp Mill where he was the goaltender for the Canfor Industrial hockey team. Troy also loved cars, especially hotrods and muscle cars. He could be found glued to the TV during the Barrett Jackson Auction dreaming of cars he would like to own. He was loved and respected by his work mates, and many visited him in his final days.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in Prince George at a later date. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.

His family and those who knew him will forever love and miss him.

Troy loved animals and those who wish to do so may make a donation in his memory to the local S.P.C.A.
