Re: Toy Run pushes back over First Night changes, March 20, 2024
Why is city council wanting the First Night celebration to be city led? Council should leave well enough alone, the Port Alberni Toy Run does an excellent job already.
I am pretty sure if the city takes the lead, First Night will not be as good. Also, the taxpayers will be on the hook for all the expenses.
I totally agree with how the Toy Run volunteers feel and share the concerns they have.
