To the Editor,

Can anyone tell me where we have gone in the last 45 years? When the hard working person made $22,000 dollars, a house was between $18,000 and $30,000 depending where you lived. Today, the same dump is between $600,000 to over $1,000,000, plus have our wages gone up to $300,000 or $500,000 per year? Does any polititian know what caused this mess?

I know a lot of older people who can’t live in their fully paid house anymore. We have gone to hell. Why? Capitalism is not the answer to a decent social life. We must change this for the benefit of all us hard workers.

Peter Rueschmann,
