To the Editor,
This is a shout out to the West Coast General Hospital emergency department. I was in a truck accident on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2024 where my rolling truck stuck me. All the doctors, nurses and staff were absolutely fantastic, professional, kind, efficient, and compassionate.
Given all the negativity around our provincial health care, I feel it is very important to recognize that when something traumatic happens they are there for us. I so appreciate that I/we live in Canada and the Alberni Valley.
Thank you to the hospital emergency staff for who they are and what they provide for all of us.
