Tough weekend for Bulldogs

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs returned home from a rough road trip salvaging two points out of a possible six.

The Bulldogs lost 4–1 in Wenatchee, 6–0 in Penticton and won 5–4 in Merritt before returning home.

“We knew it was going to be tough, playing some of the top teams in the league,” head coach Kevin Willison said.

ICE CHIPS...The ’Dogs play home-and-home against Nanaimo this Friday, Jan. 20 on the road and Saturday, Jan. 21 at home (7 p.m.).
