CNIB comes to Alberni Sept. 15

Port Alberni residents will have the opportunity to have vision services provide free of charge.

Port Alberni residents will have the opportunity to have vision services provide free of charge courtesy of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

The CNIB mobile will be in town on Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall at 4358 Roger Street.

You can drop by and receive free assistive technology, independent travel techniques and living skills, low vision services and veteran services. There will be talking watches, large button phones, magnifiers and more for sale on location.
