Farewell dinner for Sunshine Club stalwart

Deb Barr, who worked with the Sunshine Club seniors’ organization in Port Alberni for more than 35 years, has retired.

Deb Barr, who worked with the Sunshine Club seniors’ organization in Port Alberni for more than 35 years, has retired.

To honour Barr and her commitment to the Port Alberni seniors, the Sunshine Club is holding an open house for her on Wednesday, May 9, from 1–3 p.m. at Echo Centre.

It is hoped that Sunshine Club members and others who dealt with Barr over the years will be able to attend to say “farewell”.
