Our Town is going to McLean Mill.

Join the city of Port Alberni on Tuesday, July 25 as they take a magical train to Millwarts, where young wizards and witches are hard at work learning the skills of wizardry and magic.

There will be games, ring tosses, duck races, a bean bag toss, balloon animals, crafts, music and much more. Young wizards will enjoy bubble wands, face painting and activities provided by Twisted Willow Studio.

Participants will also enjoy popcorn provided by the Kiwanis Club and hot dogs and refreshments compliments of Buy-Low Foods.

Families can also enjoy a treasure hunt, story-telling, theatre production, historical buildings, heritage vehicles, nature walks and much more.

Dress up as your favourite witch or wizard and join the city for this magical evening of family fun.

Participants will be able to jump aboard the Mayor’s Train at the train station downtown and take a free train out to the mill at 6 p.m. Tickets are free of charge, and all passengers must have a ticket to board the train. Tickets are limited and will be available based on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets are available from the Echo Centre now.

Please note, there is also parking available for participants who would like to travel by muggle vehicles.
