The Second Mt. Cokely Brownies were selling pizza by the slice at the Pizza Factory, 4740 Roger St., Port Alberni, on Friday, Feb. 6 from 4–9 p.m. to raise funds for the Canadian World Friendship Fund. This fund is an international Girl Guide initiative.
The Brownies have entered the province-wide Pizza Challenge and hope to raise enough money to earn a pizza party for their unit. They were selling pizza for $2.25 per slice and were earning $1 per slice for their efforts. Girl Guide cookies were also on sale.
