Members of the Alberni Healthcare Auxiliary recently marked the arrival of Port Alberni’s first baby of 2025 with a gift presentation to the baby girl’s family.
Maeve Dietterle was born on Jan. 6, 2025, the first baby of the year born at West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni.
Auxiliary members recently presented Maeve’s parents, Steph and Ryan Dietterle, with a pink hand-knit baby blanket along with a hat, a piggy bank, a baby photo album and a onesie proclaiming, “I was born in Port Alberni.”
The auxiliary extends its congratulations to the Dietterle family.
