Plenty of Christmas spirit in the Alberni Valley

The Alberni Valley kicked off its Christmas season last weekend with a few holiday events.

Tree light-ups took place at Harbour Quay and the Blue Marlin, drawing crowds of spectators for Christmas music, hot chocolate and visits with Santa.

McLean Mill also hosted its annual Christmas Market, including a Breakfast with Santa on Sunday morning.

The annual “Sail Past” takes place at Harbour Quay on Sunday, Dec. 9 starting at 6 p.m.
