Wreath-making workshop raises funds for Port Alberni rugby club

Annual event drew 18 participants

The Port Alberni Black Sheep Rugby Club hosted their second annual wreath building fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 15.

The event had 18 participants, who were guided by Tanya Shannon of The Cabin at Shannon Farms. Rugby players also assisted in making the evergreen wreaths. Participants were also treated to tasty treats made by Matt Dunk.

Money raised from this event goes to the Black Sheep executive, which decides where to channel the funds. Next year the players will be travelling to Australia, so  this will most likely be a contender for the funds raised.
