How to vote in Port Alberni's 2024 by-election

One more advance poll happening Dec. 11 before voting day Dec. 14

One advance poll remains before the general voting day in Port Alberni's 2024 city council by-election.

Voters may participate in an advance poll on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at Echo Centre between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

General voting day is on Saturday, Dec. 14 and will take place at Echo Centre (4255 Wallace St.) between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Voters unsure of whether they are on the current list of electors should call Port Alberni City Hall at 250-723-2146 or visit in person at 4850 Argyle St. between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The city uses the provincial voters' list. Voters must be 18 years old, a Canadian citizen and resident of the City of Port Alberni in order to vote.
