Dog Mountain Brewing in Port Alberni will host some of the city by-election candidates for an informal meet-and-greet on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024.
"We are providing the venue for a casual meet and greet for the candidates running in the 2024 by-election," Dog Mountain Brewing's Robin Richards wrote in a social media post.
The public is invited to come and chat with candidates from 7–9 p.m. Dog Mountain is located at 3141 Third Ave.
Richards said Richard Huneault, Debra Hamilton and Brennan Wauters have all confirmed they will be attending. Fellow candidates Shinakoh Couture and Tom Verbrugge were also contacted about the event, she noted.
