Calling all kids! Come learn the magic of bubbles at the Grove Art Gallery this Friday, July 19.
The usually tranquil Harbour Quay will transform into a bustling hub of excitement and creativity on Friday, as The Grove Gallery's "Crafty Critters" summer camp invites all kids to come learn bubble tricks.
Our special Friday half-day camp starts at 9:30 a.m. where kiddos can come get their special “Crafty Critters Camp” t-shirt, thanks to Cloud City Apparel Co., then get crafty.
After creating a bubbly craft, Adley from Sharky Balloons will come and teach the art of bubbles big and small.
Adley has been a west coast bubble master for many years, often at festivals creating bubbles big and small. Have you ever seen those giant bubbles at festivals? That is probably him! Kids can learn what the magic is inside the giant bubbles and have fun popping them at the Harbour Quay.
"Bubbles fascinate children and adults alike," says Adley, whose expertise in creating spectacular bubble displays has garnered a dedicated following. "This event isn’t just about showing off bubble tricks; it's about engaging kids in a playful learning experience."
The "Learn Bubble Tricks! Crafty Critters" event is $40 and parents can sign up their kiddos online at www.alberniarts.com/crafty-critters-summer-camps or by visiting the Grove Art Gallery .
The camp comes to a close at 12:30 p.m.
