The Grove Gallery is excited to announce a series of Pride Week celebrations, offering inclusive and creative events for the community.
Teen Hang-Out
Tuesday, May 28, 3-6 p.m. — This casual drop-in hang session invites teens to enjoy after-school art making, music, and light refreshments in a queer-friendly environment. With a variety of art materials available, participants can collaborate or work on individual projects.
Suggested donation is $5/attendee. Space is limited, so arrive as soon as school ends.
Kids Art Making
Saturday, June 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Families and children of all ages are invited to visit the Grove Gallery to create community art around the question, “What does Pride mean to you?” Participants will paint wooden hexagons, connecting together into a mosaic of colour and self expression that will later be assembled into a public installation. Cost is $5 per painting.
