Traditional folk music from the British Isles and North America is coming to Char’s Landing Thursday, March 23.
Newfoundland’s Dave Panting and Nova Scotia’s Greg Simm, an acoustic duo, draw musical savvy and experience combined with a relaxed and spontaneous stage presence to take audiences on a ride down the backroads of Britain, Ireland and North America.
Their set is a balanced mix of songs and instrumentals from several genres, including Celtic folk, country blues and swing.
Dave Panting is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and producer who hails from St. John’s, NL. He has four decades as a full-time professional musician under his belt.
Greg Simm has been performing music across Canada and beyond for the last 40 years.
Tickets are $20 and $15 for kids. Show begins at 7 p.m. at Char’s Landing.
