The tribute band Got Stones! will be bringing Rolling Stones swagger into Port Alberni, playing some of the band's most iconic songs.
Got Stones! will be at the Alberni District Secondary School (ADSS) Theatre on Saturday, April 26. With a setlist spanning decades of hits, audiences will hear a selection of Stones songs like "It's All Over Now," "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" and “Paint it Black,” as well as later offerings like "Sympathy For The Devil" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want", right through to the bands latest release, "Angry."
Delivering an authentic and raw energy performance, the band consists of Vancouver Island music veterans with a long list of past projects, going back to the late 70’s. Legit Lloyd Serson is Mick Jagger, Struttin’ Shawn Wilm is Keith Richards and Dazzling David Beattie is Ronnie Wood. The rythymn section is rounded out with Competent Cam Stiles on Bass guitar and Drummer Gregarious Glen Santics.
Got Stones! transports the audience back to the golden era of rock. Dressed in era-appropriate stage gear and armed with infectious enthusiasm, they don’t just perform the songs — they embody the spirit of the Rolling Stones.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.eventbrite.ca.
