Portal Players calls for Reefer Madness auditions

Eight actors are needed for Portal Players' Dramatic Society's production of Reefer Madness: The Musical.

Never one to edge away from controversy, Portal Players Dramatic Society is looking for eight actors for its upcoming adults-only production, Reefer Madness: The Musical.

The play takes a cheeky look at the hysteria caused by marijuana in the 1930s.

Auditions take place Monday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the Capitol Theatre (4904 Argyle St.) at 6:30 p.m. The production also needs a choreographer. Please call producer Megan Cathers at 778-421-4203 if you fit the bill.
