The story behind We Are All One, on exhibit at the Alberni Valley Museum, has many layers. It not only represents artwork from children attending the Alberni Indian Residential School  (AIRS), but the story of famous Canadian artist Robert Aller as well as how the artwork was repatriated.

Andrea Walsh, a professor at the University of Victoria and guest curator of We Are All One, will be at the museum on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. for A Repatriation Story: The Return of Children’s Paintings from Alberni Indian Residential School.
