Children's art programming will take place every weekend in March 2025 at the Grove Art Gallery.

The Grove is excited to announce that for March we will be hosting drop-in art-making classes for kids. These casual workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where parents can either drop-off or join in on making a fun craft.

Our first week Saturday, March 1, kids will be making friendship bracelets. Learn the art of making all different types of bracelets using colourful string and beads. Kids will leave with a bracelet (or two!) and will be encouraged to try new techniques and styles.

Following that, on Saturday March 8, kids can learn the art of papercraft and weaving. There are limitless ways of creating something special with a few sheets of paper. Your child will not only learn something new, but have a woven craft to take home afterwards.

To celebrate St. Patrick’s day, Saturday, March 15 we will be hosting a fun craft inspired by all things St.Paddy! Make sure to wear green to the drop-in session.

And lastly, on March 22, kids can come in and paint their own wooden fish. Every kid will take their colourful aquatic creation home, ready to go on the wall.

These drop-in sessions are best for kids over the age of five, but younger kids can attend as well if parents/guardians are with them. You can either pre-register online, or simply drop in. To join in on the fun and learn more, visit us at The Grove Gallery, call us at 250-724-3412 or check out our website, alberniarts.com/events.
