Families, friends, and community members are invited to celebrate creativity and fun at the inaugural Alberni Valley Children’s Arts Festival this Sunday, Feb. 16, at Gyro Park from 10 am. to 3 p.m.

Held during the Family Day weekend, this exciting event promises a vibrant day of artistic discovery, entertainment, and hands-on activities for children of all ages.

Presented by the Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley, the festival features musical performances, puppetry, a magician and engaging entertainers. Kids can get creative with our ‘Creation Station’, an inspiring space for young artists to unleash their imaginations, as well as a STEM zone hosted by the Alberni Valley Makerspace.

There are also other super fantastic and fun activities like a scavenger hunt, face painting, food vendors, a teddy bear repair, learn to spin fibre and more. This community event is free to attend, ensuring accessibility for all families.

The festival is made possible through the generous sponsorship of our top sponsors Tseshaht Forestry Corporation, Coastal Community Credit Union and Port Alberni Port Authority.

Join us for a memorable day of creativity, discovery and community connection. To see the whole schedule of events, visit alberniarts.com/avcaf or check out our Facebook event for all the latest updates. Any more info, call 250-724-3412, or e-mail info@alberniarts.com.
