Early voting for the 2024 provincial election begins today.
Advance voting will take place at the Alberni Athletic Hall (3727 Roger Street) on Oct. 10-13 and Oct. 15-16 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
Voting is also available at the District Electoral Office (4994 Argyle Street). The office is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will also be open on advance voting days from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Residents who are unable to vote in person can ask for a vote-by-mail package by visiting votebymail.elections.bc.ca or by calling Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683. The last day to ask for a package online or by phone is Sunday, Oct. 13.
