The Princess Mary's Canadian Light Infantry created a 100-man honour guard on the occasion of British Columbia's centennial in 1958. Included in this photo are Dennis Craig, Kenny Rhodes and Dougal Greene, some of the Port Alberni members of the guard.

At least three—and possibly more—Port Alberni residents helped make up a 100-man honour guard to celebrate British Columbia's centennial in 1958.

Dennis Craig, Kenny Rhodes and Dougal Greene were among the members of the Princess Mary's Canadian Light Infantry that formed the guard, according to Craig. The official date of the centennial was July 19, 1958.

Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth II's sister, visited the province to help celebrate.
