Celebrate Canada Day with an Alberni Valley video

Help us make memories of Canada Day in the Alberni Valley with a new video project.

  • Jul. 1, 2015 5:00 p.m.

Happy Canada Day! Show us how you celebrated Canada’s 148th birthday and your photo could be included in our community video project.

We’re looking for activity photos that show what it means to be Canadian and call the Alberni Valley home. Whether you’re celebrating July 1 with the community or with friends and family, a photo from your day helps us tell the story. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to take part.

Go to our Celebrate Canada Day event page  to upload your photos. While there, you can view a sample video that was made to help inspire you.

Celebrate Canada Day videos are being done by newspapers across the country. Let’s make the Alberni Valley video the best of them all.

Get local stories you won't find anywhere else right to your inbox.
